Spa Control Sundance
i have a sundance Bahia. The control panel often says the water is hotter than it is, and shuts down the spa?
I have tried shutting off the power for an hour. This works for a short time, But soon it reads 109, 114, and flashes OH, then shuts down. Please help
You could have a malfunctioning thermostat, or the control board isn’t reading the thermostat correctly. If the stat is off by a few degrees, you can try setting the temp on the spa a little lower than you normally would and see if it still shuts down. If the spa doesn’t shut down at the lower temp, then the stat is the most likely suspect. Contact the spa manufacturer about the thermostat and check on the price of a new thermostat and replacement options. It’s also a good idea to get yourself a non-contact infrared thermometer to check the water temp of the spa. Sears sells them for around $70 or you can get them for around $30 at Harbor Freight.
